A warm Island welcome
You know you've arrived when you spot the iconic fisherman's boots perched upside down outside our front door. It's a tradition, and so is our commitment to quality and service.
Owned and operated by proud Islander Shane Campbell and his family for over 35 years, Water Prince Corner Shop is your trusted destination for the Island's freshest seafood. Shane and his son Coady personally select the catch from PEI's local wharves and fishermen, so only the best makes it to the lobster pound and to your plate.
The Restaurant
A relaxed, down-to-earth dining experience where fresh seafood takes center stage. Take the open air of our patio or the cozy charm of dining indoors, surrounded by our unique decor. The focus is on serving food that speaks for itself.
Not a seafood fan? No worries. Our Land Lovers' and Kids' menus feature favourites like juicy burgers, paired with our homemade fresh-cut PEI fries.
New since our winter renovation: a second-level takeout deck with views of Founders Hall, opened in late June.
The Lobster Pound
The finest selection of live Atlantic lobster, Northumberland scallops, Malpeque oysters, Island blue mussels, snow crab and more. Take it home to prepare yourself, have it packed for travel, or have fresh lobster shipped to you.
We have had satisfied customers from all over the world, and they come back again and again.
The building opens as the Prince Street Grocery, and it has anchored this corner ever since.
Family owned and operated by Shane Campbell and his family.
The largest lobster we have ever shipped, caught right here in PEI.

"When locals want seafood they head to this inconspicuous, sea-blue eatery near the wharf. It is deservedly famous for its scallop burgers, but it's also the best place in town for fresh lobster."Lonely Planet
"Inside, you'll find one of the city's most convivial seafood joints, serving lobster dinners, superb seafood chowder, cooked mussels, and even lobster rolls to an appreciative mixture of tourists and locals."Frommer's Guide Book
